No Eli, you were supposed to lose

Sigh.

That's not how the game was supposed to end. Apparently Eli Manning decided to disregard everything I told him during our chat earlier this week.

And the Packers? They didn't look so impressive. In fact it almost looked as though they were trying to lose the game since they couldn't seem to do anything offensively.

Sigh.

In all, it was a good year though. And there's always next year.

That is exactly it. I couldn't pinpoint the exact let-down I felt, along with half the world I suspect, last night when the Giants kicked that winning field goal.

It wasn't supposed to end that way.

Seriously, I don't know if it was being complacent, cocky or just embracing what we all felt was certainly GB's destiny, but did anyone anticipate them losing? I didn't. Not for one second.

Sigh, is right.

I didn't anticipate them losing. But I'm kind of surprised that I'm not super disappointed today. I mean, yes, it sucks they lost. But at the same time, they weren't even supposed to make it to the NFC Championship Game.

So maybe I'm just happy about the season they had. But still somewhat disappointed in yesterday's game. But stil. They didn't look so good yesterday. And it did stink when they lost.

So I'll go back to my original thought.

Sigh.
